There are lots of unique items floating around out there which don't have stories attached beyond where/how they were attained.
If anyone possesses such a unique, would you be interested in your character discovering the story behind it (whether through placed books (research) or NPC interaction)?
If
you *are* interested, I'd need to know exactly where the unique originated and
any other info surrounding it. :)
