Be
warned that there is a bug which can trap a mage in a form permanently.
There is a Crystal of Form Restoration in the Lycaeum which allows
the problem to be corrected without GM intervention. Misusing the
crystal will be frowned on however.An option to similarly fix the
bug is available from the Help menu accessed from the paperdoll.
Of
Wands and their Manufacture
Basic
wands may be "empowered" by player mages. The minimum
real skill requirement starts at 70.0 Magery, however, the higher
your magery skill, the high number of charges each wand can containing,
with GM skill allowing the possible maximum with a "perfect" embuement.
There are 4 locations in the world where these can be crafted/enchanted,
and are not available as player decorations. Each spell mixture
requires specific gemstones, reagents, and a "blank" wand along
with the necessary mana for its creation.
The "blank" wands are available as gold sink items from a specific
unique NPC mage character somewhere in the world. They are one-time
use items, however, they are not damaged during an unsuccessful
attempt. However, any reagent and/or gem ingredients already mixed
will be consumed during a success or failure to enchant the wand.
The higher your magery skill, the less likely your chance for failure.
